‘For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God’.
‘Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.’
If we examine our own lives honestly then we will see that we are sinful. Out of all the people who have ever lived, only One is without sin; His Name is Jesus, the Name above every Name.
The Father, Son and Holy Spirit is the Only God and we all need His forgiveness. It is only through Jesus’ sacrificial death on the cross and victory over sin and death that we may be forgiven.
This verse in Psalm 32 tells us that a person is blessed when their transgressions are forgiven and sins are covered. Since we have all sinned, we all need forgiveness. The Lord Jesus, through His crucifixion and resurrection, is the One who offers this forgiveness to all. Your sins can be forgiven. Come to the Lord Jesus, put your trust in Him and what He has done on the cross and in His resurrection and be forgiven and free from sin.
If you are a Christian, trusting in Jesus’ death and resurrection for salvation, then be encouraged! What a blessed thing it is to know that you have been forgiven by God! Although being ‘blessed’ in no way guarantees an easy life on earth, we have a sure hope in Jesus for forgiveness and eternal life with Him.
